Job Purpose

To lead and optimize the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations by ensuring the efficient procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution of raw materials required for ready-mix concrete production. The role focuses on maintaining supply continuity, controlling costs, improving operational efficiency, and supporting business growth through strategic supplier and logistics management.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

• Lead the procurement of raw materials including cement, aggregates, sand, and chemical admixtures.
• Develop sourcing strategies that ensure cost efficiency, quality, and uninterrupted material availability.
• Negotiate contracts and long-term agreements with local and international suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Supply Chain & Logistics

• Manage inbound logistics and coordinate material deliveries across multiple batching plants.
• Collaborate with fleet and operations teams to ensure continuous plant operations.
• Develop contingency plans to minimize supply chain disruptions.
• Monitor transportation performance and optimize logistics costs.

Inventory Management

• Oversee inventory levels across warehouses and batching plants.
• Implement inventory control systems to reduce waste and optimize stock levels.
• Ensure timely replenishment of critical materials.

Compliance & Vendor Management

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and Saudi regulations.
• Conduct supplier qualification, evaluation, and periodic performance reviews.
• Support local content initiatives and supplier development programs.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Lead and develop the supply chain team.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, logistics efficiency, and operational performance.
• Prepare supply chain reports, forecasts, and KPIs for senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or CIPS are highly preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive supply chain and procurement experience.
• At least 3–5 years of experience within the Ready-Mix Concrete, Cement, Aggregates, or Construction Materials industry in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong experience managing procurement and supply chain operations across multiple plants.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Strong knowledge of the Saudi construction materials market.
• Experience with cement, quarries, crushers, and aggregate suppliers.
• Familiarity with Saudi customs procedures, local regulations, and supplier networks.
• Experience in cost optimization, demand forecasting, and strategic sourcing.
