Job Purpose

To lead the company’s IT operations across corporate offices, factories, warehouses, and operational sites while ensuring reliable infrastructure, secure systems, effective user support, and uninterrupted business operations.

The role will also drive the organization’s digital transformation strategy by modernizing legacy systems, improving system integration, automating manual processes, and enhancing data visibility across manufacturing and business functions.

Key Responsibilities
IT Operations & Infrastructure
  • Lead daily IT operations across offices, production facilities, warehouses, and operational sites.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of networks, servers, storage, devices, communication platforms, and critical applications.
  • Oversee service desk activities, technical support, escalation management, and root-cause analysis.
  • Maintain effective backup, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity arrangements.
  • Manage IT assets, software licences, hardware lifecycles, and technology standards.
Manufacturing Systems & Plant Support
  • Support systems used across manufacturing, inventory, maintenance, quality, and warehouse operations.
  • Work with plant, engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply-chain teams to resolve operational challenges through technology.
  • Ensure that corporate IT services effectively support factory-floor requirements.
  • Promote the digitization of factory workflows, approvals, maintenance activities, reporting, and quality documentation.
Digital Transformation
  • Lead digital initiatives that improve automation, efficiency, integration, visibility, and operational control.
  • Identify opportunities to replace manual, paper-based, and disconnected processes.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of digital tools across Finance, HR, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Commercial functions.
  • Encourage the adoption of structured, data-driven, and digitally enabled ways of working.
Enterprise Systems & Integration
  • Manage enterprise applications and ensure they remain stable, secure, integrated, and aligned with business needs.
  • Coordinate system enhancements, upgrades, testing, implementation, user acceptance, and post-launch support.
  • Improve integration between ERP, HRMS, CRM, BI, document-management, and workflow platforms.
  • Strengthen master-data governance and overall data quality.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
  • Implement practical cybersecurity controls that protect company systems and information.
  • Oversee access management, endpoint protection, patching, backups, vulnerability management, antivirus, and EDR solutions.
  • Support IT audits, compliance reviews, and the closure of technology-related findings.
  • Reduce technology risks that could affect manufacturing or business continuity.
Project & Vendor Management
  • Lead IT and digital projects from planning through deployment, stabilization, and handover.
  • Manage system integrators, software providers, service partners, and other technology vendors.
  • Track project budgets, timelines, deliverables, service quality, and commercial performance.
  • Ensure technology investments are practical, scalable, and aligned with operational priorities.
Team & Stakeholder Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop the internal IT team.
  • Establish clear priorities, service standards, KPIs, and accountability.
  • Build strong relationships with senior management, plant leadership, and department heads.
  • Translate complex technical matters into clear business recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A master’s degree is considered an advantage.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of relevant IT experience.
  • At least 4–6 years in an IT managerial or senior supervisory position.
  • Strong experience within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, production, logistics, or multi-site operational environments.
  • Proven experience in digital transformation, ERP systems, infrastructure management, automation, systems integration, and IT operations.
  • Experience supporting factory operations and industrial processes is strongly preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage.
